Booking, Payment & Cancellation Terms

1. Securing Your Wedding Date
• A non-refundable booking fee of £100 (or 25% of the total booking, whichever is greater) is required to secure your wedding date.
• Your date is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received and a signed contract returned.
• All booking fees are deducted from the final balance.
• Dates are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

2. Final Balance Payment
• The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.
• For bookings made within 4 weeks of the wedding, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer (details provided on invoice) or cash upon the day.
Failure to pay the final balance by the due date may result in cancellation of services.

3. Minimum Booking Requirement
For peak dates (May–September, Fridays & Saturdays), a minimum booking of:
• Bride + 2 adult services
OR
• A minimum spend of £500
applies.
If the booking falls below the minimum spend, the minimum fee remains payable.

4. Cancellations by the Client
• The booking fee is non-refundable.
• Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before the wedding will not require further payment beyond the booking fee.
• Cancellations made within 8 weeks of the wedding date require 50% of the remaining balance.
• Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the wedding date require 100% of the total balance.
Reducing the size of the bridal party after booking does not reduce the minimum booking fee.

5. Postponements / Date Changes
• One date change may be accommodated subject to availability.
• If I am unavailable for the new date, the booking will be treated as a cancellation.
• Booking fees are transferable once only within 12 months of the original date.

6. Trials
• Trial appointments must be paid in full at the time of booking or a cash payment can be arranged on the day if preferred.
• Trial payments are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with 48 hours’ notice.

7. Travel & Destination Weddings
• Travel is charged at 45p per mile.
• Early start times (before 6am) may incur an additional fee.
• Destination weddings require travel and accommodation to be covered by the client.
• A bespoke quote will be provided for overseas bookings.

8. Delays & Timing
• A schedule will be agreed prior to the wedding day.
• Delays caused by members of the bridal party may result in reduced service time.
• I cannot be held responsible for lateness due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or extreme weather, though every effort will be made to arrive on time.

9. Health & Allergies
• It is the client’s responsibility to inform me of any allergies or skin sensitivities prior to application.
• A patch test is available upon request.
• I reserve the right to refuse application if contagious skin conditions are present.

10. Cancellation by the Artist
In the unlikely event I am unable to attend due to serious illness or emergency:
• Every effort will be made to arrange a trusted replacement artist.
• If a replacement cannot be secured, a full refund including booking fee will be issued.
